Weyward Broomworks was born from a love of old crafts, wild places, and making beautiful things by hand. Based in Northeast Alabama and inspired by the mountains and folk traditions of Southern Appalachia, each broom is handcrafted using traditional broommaking techniques and made to have a character all its own.
What began as a curiosity quickly became a genuine love for the craft—the rhythm of working with broomcorn, binding each piece by hand, and turning simple natural materials into something both beautiful and useful. From traditional hand whisks and hearth brooms to more whimsical and unusual creations, no two Weyward brooms are exactly alike.
I believe the things we bring into our homes should carry a little story with them. In a world filled with things made quickly, each Weyward broom is made slowly and intentionally by hand. Whether your broom hangs beside the hearth, finds a place in your home, accompanies a ritual, or is simply loved as a piece of folk art, I hope it feels like something worth keeping.
